About our Founder
Native New Yorker, Dede Diamond a bubbly Harvard University alumni and AmeriCorps member.
She began her career in Psychology, then later transitioned into professional Healthcare. Dede is known for her philanthropic work and continuous efforts to enhance the community. She serves as a mentor for teen girls who have no family/adult support. She has a genuine love for animals and passion for her favorite pet charity “Best Friends Animal Society.” Where their mission is to reduce the animal cruelty in many forms throughout the United States.
Her personality and style blend exceptionally well. She has a love for fashion and music. She is a fashion enthusiast, make-up junkie and loves to experiment with new trends/fads because she believes fashion is an art and one should explore it.
Dede Diamond founded NYC Girlfriends Unite in 2018 with the aim of helping women build friendships in a welcoming environment. She created this platform for women to share in life experiences. She encourages and empowers women to connect from all different walks of life. She wanted women to feel welcomed, where women can build friendships, create memories, and gain valuable experiences.
